Terms of use and sale
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms apply to the website maniaclab.app, to Maniac OS, to the Maniac ID and to apps published by Maniac Lab (run by Georgios Charilaou, Limassol, Cyprus). By using them you agree to these terms.
1. Maniac OS
Maniac OS is provided free of charge. It contains components under their own open-source licences, which apply to those components. Installing an operating system erases the disk you choose: back up your data first. Maniac OS is provided “as is”, without warranty, to the extent the law allows.
2. Maniac ID
You need a Maniac ID to buy apps. Keep access to your e-mail address secure: anyone who can read it can sign in. You may authorise up to 5 PCs at a time. We may suspend accounts that are used to break these terms or the law.
3. Buying apps
Apps are sold by our reseller Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record, under its terms of sale; Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles VAT. Prices are shown in euros; any VAT is added or included at checkout according to your country.
A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on up to 5 PCs authorised with your Maniac ID, for as long as you like. Apps are licensed, not sold; you may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or circumvent their protection, except where the law allows. The full licence terms for Maniac OS and the apps are in the End User Licence Agreement.
4. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Because apps are digital content delivered immediately, you agree at checkout that the download starts at once and that you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once it has started. Nevertheless, if you are not satisfied, write to support@maniaclab.app within 14 days of purchase and we will arrange a refund through Lemon Squeezy. After a refund the licence ends. The details are in the refund policy. Your statutory rights for faulty digital content are not affected.
5. Clinic
Clinic is practice management software. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. The practice is responsible for the accuracy of its records, for its backups, and for complying with data protection and medical record-keeping rules.
6. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the app concerned. Keep backups of your data.
7. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version at the time of purchase applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. If there is a problem, please write to us first — we would much rather put it right. Consumers can also turn to the consumer protection authority of their country.
